As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
1 Peter 2:2 KJV
The moment you accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior, you become born again, you become a spiritual newborn baby. The need for milk is a natural instinct for a baby, and it requires nourishment that will lead to growth.
As a Christian, you must have the desire to grow, to model your life after Jesus Christ, and to learn more about Him.
Are you growing spiritually as you should? Do you have this desire? How eagerly do you want to grow? How earnestly do you desire nourishment from god’s word?
There’s always a rough road ahead and the life of being Christian is not as easy as just picking a piece of paper and writing all you want to be. There will always be trials, hardships, persecutions, and confusions along the way but the best thing to do is to trust in God and follow His will.
You will know God’s will if you know Him better, know your God personally. Knowing the will of God starts from reading His words. And to avoid being led away by the errors of the wicked is to have increased knowledge about God.
God has prepared to us a lot of things for you and He will reveal them to you through the working of His of the Holy Spirit, everything that pertains to life and godliness will be revealed through the knowledge of Him accordingly to His diving power.
According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
2 Peter 1:3 KJV
Do you know God personally? Grow your knowledge and grow spiritually, soak yourself in the words of God daily.
