This is an honest question. Not meant to scare you. Not meant to pressure you. But meant to help you examine something eternal.
If you were to die today, are you sure you would be with God?
The Bible says,
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”
Hebrews 9:27 KJV
This is not about religion. This is not about church attendance. This is about your soul.
The Truth We Must Face
God tells us the truth about ourselves, even when it is uncomfortable.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23 KJV
Sin is not only the bad things we do. It is the condition of the human heart apart from God. Because God is holy, sin separates us from Him.
“For the wages of sin is death…”
Romans 6:23 KJV
No amount of good works, charity, or religion can remove sin. Salvation does not begin with doing better. It begins with honesty before God.
God’s Love and the Good News
Here is the greatest news you will ever hear.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8 KJV
God did not wait for us to clean ourselves up. Jesus Christ came into this world to save sinners. Jesus lived a sinless life. He died on the cross in our place. He was buried. And He rose again the third day.
“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day…”
1 Corinthians 15:3–4 KJV
Salvation is not found in religion. Salvation is not found in good works. Salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone.
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12 KJV
Your Personal Response Matters
God does not force salvation on anyone. He lovingly invites you to respond.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Romans 10:9 KJV
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Romans 10:13 KJV
This is not about perfect words. It is about a sincere heart.
“Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
2 Corinthians 6:2 KJV
A Simple Prayer of Faith
If God is speaking to your heart right now, do not ignore this moment. You can call upon the Lord right where you are.
You may pray something like this:
Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner.
I cannot save myself.
I believe that You died for my sins
and rose again.
I turn from my sin
and place my trust in You alone.
Forgive me.
Save me.
I receive You as my Lord and Savior.
Amen.
God’s Promise to You
Salvation is not based on feelings. It is based on God’s Word.
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”
John 1:12 KJV
“He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
John 5:24 KJV
If you have trusted Jesus Christ, you are forgiven. You are loved. You belong to Him.
What’s Next?
Salvation is the beginning, not the end.
Spend time in God’s Word.
Seek fellowship with other believers.
Grow in grace and truth.
And always remember this:
Salvation is not in religion. Salvation is in the Lord Jesus Christ alone.
