What does the Bible say about God’s Love?
God’s love is unconditional, unmeasurable, and everlasting. The Love of God is oftentimes mentioned in the Bible through stories and precepts as heavenly, valid, and never-ending.
Indeed, the Bible says that God is love! God loves everybody. God’s love is extraordinary to such an extent that He gave His only begotten Son to pass on for our transgressions and be revived. This striking certainty, alone, is a vital proof of God’s love towards us.
His love is characterized by grace, absolution, forgiveness, and is endless, unrestricted! unconditional! The following verses may help you to understand more about God’s love.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Ephesians 2:8-10
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
1 John 4:7-8
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God, and every one that loveth is born of God and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
1 John 4:9-11
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
1 John 4:16
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Romans 8:37-39
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Isaiah 54:10
For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Psalm 136:26
O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
