There was a man who became a billionaire but he decided to give all his wealth as he realized that he can’t find true joy in it. He got everything but he felt empty.
Many of us thinks the same. We thought wealth can give us all joy and it is the reason why we try to strive for more. We are not satisfied but we want more. This is truly an indication that we can’t find true happiness within it.
A lot of rich people who has everything in life but they are not happy and there poor people but they are happy and blessed. They maybe poor but they are rich spiritually and they are blessed.
What do we need to do in order to be blessed?
A. We must be in the right place.
We must walk in the right place
Psalms 1:1 – Blessed the man the walked not in the counsel of the ungodly. We need to walk in the right place. Don’t look at the people that surrounds us but we have to look for God.
We must stand in the right place
Stand with your faith and continue serving our God even at the lowest point of our life. We are living in this sinful world, we must influence other people and not to be influenced by them.
We must seat in the right place
We must not participate in the doings of the world. Don’t be pulled by people that surround you but instead, bring them in the hands of God.
B. We must focus on the right things
We have to stop the things of the world and cling on the word of God because the scriptures will give us strength. If we are experiencing a lot of things and if we have a lot questions in life, the word of God will give us answers.
The word of God will lead us to success. A believer of the word of God will bear fruits. John 15:8 “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”
Be a witness of His words, people that surrounds you may see Jesus in you and so that they maybe blessed as well.
As the song says “Let other see Jesus in you”. Your life is a book before their eyes. They’re reading it through and through. Say, does it point them to the skies? Do other see Jesus in you?
C. We must trust in the right person
Psalms 1:6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Psalms 101:6 “Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.”
We may face a lot of trials in life but we are not alone.
Psalms 3:3 “But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.”
God is our protection. Psalms 28:7 “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.”
God knows our problems and God knows even the numbers of our hair.
Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and not in our own self. Through Him, we can find true hope and Joy.
True blessings awaits us, we don’t have to find it but we just need to open our eyes and heart and all we need to do is to receive it. Receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, follow Him and by then you will find true joy and blessings.
John 1:12 “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”
