Valentines day

People often say “I love God” but this phrase just becomes a “trend” and means nothing nowadays.

It is tantamount to when people say they are Christian and they go to church but they don’t really understand the purpose why they are going to church because of the fact that they don’t really know what a real “Christian” is.

1 John 3:18 KJV [18] My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

Sad to know that people really don’t know what is the essence of “love” is.

They love their partners but they forgot God who is the provider of everything that they have.

People do care most of their relationships but they forgot their relationship to God, worst is they don’t even have a relationship with God and moreover they call themselves ”Christians”.

They spend so much time to show that they care to their loved ones, spend all the money to make him/her happy and make all the effort to prove their love but they don’t even spend time for God.

Matthew 6:21 KJV [21] For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

How about you? Do you really mean when you say “I love God”? Do you make the same effort to show your love to Him the same effort that you do with your loved ones?

We are not saying that loving your partners is a bad thing to do but it becomes bad when you love him/her more than God and you don’t even spend time for Him.

Remember that God is a jealous God says in

Exodus 34:14 and remember to love God above all things and His first commandment in

Mark 12:30 KJV [30] And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

Now pray, talk to God, ask for forgiveness and ask for His wisdom to guide you.

Always worship God in your life. God bless you.

To God be the glory.
